This action packed weekend features a mouth-watering sanctioned BBQ competition, an incredible Brewfest, a highly competitive cornhole tournament, and fantastic live music.
Best of all, every ounce of fun goes toward a great cause. All proceeds benefit the “Made for Trades” scholarship fund, which provides mentorship and support to empower the next generation of skilled trade workers. However, an event this spectacular doesn’t happen without amazing people behind the scenes, and we need your help! By volunteering, you’ll not only get to experience the lively atmosphere, incredible food, and great music up close, but you’ll also be directly contributing to a stronger, more resilient community workforce. Golf
Oak Hills Golf Club in Sutherlin is an 18-hole, par 72 public course located at 1919 Recreation Ln. The course features rolling hills, lakes, and streams. It is known for its well-maintained fairways and greens and challenging, puttable greens. It also has a driving range, the only covered and heated driving range in Douglas County, and GPS-equipped carts are available.

Based in the Roseburg and Sutherlin area, Jeri has partnered with organizations such as Sutherlin Throwdown, UCC Foundation, and Umpqua Valley Rainbow Collective to strengthen systems, clarify vision, and support long-term impact. With a business degree focused on leadership, organization, and management, along with professional experience in philanthropy and nonprofit operations, Jeri brings both strategic expertise and genuine heart to her work. She understands the unique strengths and challenges of rural communities because she has lived them herself. Raised in Central Oregon and rooted in Douglas County for more than 20 years, she is passionate about helping local organizations flourish so the communities they serve can flourish too.
When she’s not working with nonprofits, Jeri enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, shopping local, and building meaningful connections throughout rural Oregon.
